WHAT IT IS

The YWCA Wheeling present The Ohio Valley Festival for Filmmakers of Color. This event will showcase creative amateur filmmakers from Wheeling WV, and surrounding areas. Participants will be asked to submit a short film that is not to exceed 10 minutes in duration. The event will take place on September 24th 7-9PM at Wheeling University theatre.

AWARDS & PRIZES

The audience will be welcomed and encouraged to mingle and eat and partake of the refreshments. Then at 7:30 the screening of the films will begin. The films will be introduced by each director or creative team before they are screened. Afterward, the audience is encouraged to donate to the film, director or creative team of their choosing using the gallery of movie poster displays. Light food & beverages will be provided. Admission is free and open to the public

GUIDELINES

All films must be no longer than 10 minutes long. All films must be written and/or directed by a person of color.
