Prior to going public with the Capital Campaign, the YWCA Wheeling secured over 80% of the needed $16 million dollars! Now we just need YOUR help to secure the final $3.6 million! Help keep us in this building for another century!

117 years of dedication to the Ohio Valley.

We have made the decision that with a timely investment into the historic building and programs at 1100 Chapline Street, Wheeling, the YWCA could stay downtown for another 100 years. It’s a wise investment that is critical to filling the needs in the community. YWCA Wheeling sees the value in maintaining our presence in downtown. Our facility is on the bus line offering the possibility of personal growth through the employability of our residents. With capital rejuvenation, we envision a place that can continue needed services and also increase our effectiveness and ability to help even more of our neighbors – build their futures with hope and reclaim their lives with strength and confidence. For more than a century, the YWCA Wheeling has supported women in need in the Ohio Valley. We invite you to help make a significant impact in changing lives for the better. Consider giving to the YWCA Wheeling during this campaign and be a part of the solution to our increasing domestic problems.
