Wheeling Arts & Culture Festival

The Wheeling Arts & Culture Fest is a partnership between the City of Wheeling Arts & Cultural Commission and the YWCA Wheeling so if you are looking for the Artist Market or the Around the World Carnival, you will find it all. The admission-free event is open to everyone in the community and offers a variety of arts and cultural programs, including live music, visual arts, theatre, dance, literature, culinary demonstrations, historical arts, and much more.

The City of Wheeling's Arts & Culture Commission has been busy rebranding and redesigning the Arts & Culture Festival. The CDCO Director has accepted the position of Chair of the Performing Arts Committee. Check back for updates on the festival's comeback.

Survivors of Trafficking Empowerment Program (STEP)

Dedicated to supporting survivors of labor and sex trafficking in West Virginia. We provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, and legal and case management services to all victims of human trafficking – labor and sex trafficking – including men, women, children, foreign nationals or U.S. citizens.

The Cultural Diversity Community Outreach (CDCO) program provides advocacy for victims of discrimination and prejudice, culturally specific domestic violence advocacy, cultural and diversity awareness workshops and school programming.

A program that houses single women over the age of 18 in a community style residence.

A program that houses single women over the age of 18 in a community style residence.A boutique that accepts gently used donated clothing from the community and helps clothe women going back into the work force.
